Nine named in Vic Metro squad

The Sandringham Dragons have dominated the 38-man Vic Metro squad with nine players being named to participate in the National Championships. 

Jack Mahony, Angus Hanrahan, Bailey Smith, Alastair Richards, Will Kennedy, James Rendell, Joe Griffiths, Ben King and Fischer McAsey will represent Vic Metro after being named in the initial squad earlier this year. 

Of the nine dragons named, two are bottom-agers. 

The Championships will be played over the next month across Australia.
